One of the favorite lines the adults used against me whenever I had questions was, “You’ll understand when you are older.” It was the world's easiest cop-out. There is no responsibility in the line; it puts everything back on the kid. They are just silly and stupid, but one day, when they are older, this will all make sense.
The problem with the people who spout fundamentalist crap, they sure as fuck don’t fully believe any of the shit they really say they believe in. Because if they really did, their messages would be of love & joy...smart people respect and honour the gifts they are given.
Maybe it’s just me as a mere human being...I would consider burning down the world in revenge for the death of my only child. If I was God, with a capital G, yes I think I just might....but then I’ve also been reading a lot of Lovecraft-homages (sans isms) recently...so that could just be it.
