Again, you put in words, what many of us feel but cannot say out loud without feeling like traitor. I love Biden and I think he has done an amazing job with what he inherited. He has always been able to reach across the aisle and work together, he has vast experience in politics and has worn many hats. Lest we forget, just a few months ago, he slayed his State of the Union address. Nobody bothered to even bring that up.

Then I read this. You love Biden and think the world of him, as well. Your argument is spot on and I am now a believer in this new “dream”, where Biden passes the torch to someone that is deserving and shares his wealth of experience, as he did with Obama, as his VP.

I don’t know how you did it but I feel almost hopeful that this is a possibility😊

Thank you for saying the quiet parts out loud, Nathan. Needed to be said.

I'm not even arguing with you Father Nate. But I think what you're forgetting is what those of us who live in Republican supermajority states know in our bones. Biden is not yet on the ballot in OH due to some procedural shenanigans by the MAGA. If Biden steps aside, I have not a scintilla of doubt that every state with a GOP supermajority will suddenly find some reason that Kamala Harris cannot be added. And if it ends up at the Supreme Court... welp. They'll drag it out until it actually IS too late. That's not an unlikely scenario at all. Which is why I'm going to fight to drag Biden's carcass across the finish line.

Spot on! You are able to eloquently write what many of us feel! I fear for the future of our Democracy. I pray Biden realizes it is time to pass the torch to someone in the Party who can give us hope and beat Trump. I’ve heard from some that neither candidate is a choice so they won’t vote. This would be a disaster! We need to vote to ensure that Trump won’t turn our country into a dictatorship.

Boomer here. You have clearly not had the "we need to take mom's car keys away" conversation yet. If my generation needs to make way for your generation, it is up to your generation to make that happen.

Which is exactly why we are having this conversation and are instead being told to shut up, again.

The Greatest Generation told the Boomers to shut up. At some point the old farts get pushed out of the way. I am encouraging some strong shoves.
