In the months leading up to the presidential election, Trump frequently used the phrase “the enemy within” to describe those in opposition to his political ideologies.
David Duke's goal eas to get them in every part of our government. So far, he's doing that. It doesn't help that this country has ALWAYS been racist 😒 right out the gate, kill the Indigenous Peoples or force them into assimilation. Then, steal people who are not white, force them to live as chattel because they just CAN'T be as great as wyt men are. 🙄
Ah yes, nothing says “love your neighbor” like tattooing a symbol that once inspired folks to burn said neighbors alive. Nothing screams "Prince of Peace" like Deus Vult inked on your bicep, ready to crusade against anyone who dares to differ. Because when Jesus said, "Put away your sword," clearly, he meant, "Get it tattooed instead."
Look, if someone’s faith is so fragile it needs to be defended with medieval war slogans and Iron Cross aesthetics, maybe it’s not faith at all—just cosplay for supremacy. You don’t accidentally end up with Crusader iconography on your body unless you're either really into historical ignorance or actively vibing with the ideology behind it.
And let’s be real, if Hegseth had walked into an Orthodox Church with that tattoo, some sweet old yiayia would’ve whacked him with a prayer rope and told him to repent before God smites his Wi-Fi connection. But here in Evangelical cosplay land, it's somehow "Christian persecution" when people raise eyebrows at hate symbols.
Sorry, Pete. If your tattoo has been rebranded by hate groups, maybe don’t act shocked when people wonder why it’s inked into your skin. Symbols have meanings, and some of them are louder than Fox & Friends.

Damn, I'm so glad you know all this stuff!
Ditto!!

Add the reverse flag and machine gun ink...gets scarier.
Thank you for the explanation. Your insight and expertise is valuable and so appreciated!
Thank you for this. I knew they had meaning beyond what I could see, but I grew up Catholic, and it's hard to parse the layers of meaning, sometimes
I'm getting an error when I try to Restack. What's up with that?
