This month began with prepping for dental surgery and ended with my little sister's wedding. The jury is still out on which is more painful, a root canal or seeing my mean aunt. Either way, I survived both. This will be the first of four surgeries for my teeth but two of three for marrying off of the sisters.
I also wanted to update you on some cool projects that are in the works. Now, keep in mind that maybe not all of them will see the light of day, but this is what we are working on right now:
My book tour
Launching a podcast
Finalizing the edits on my new audiobook
Working on a second edition of my memoir
A new writing workshop/seminar
And (drum roll please)
I’m writing a new book
Needless to say, I’m swamped. But in the best way possible. I’m especially excited about hitting the road and going out on tour. It will be splendid to see so many of y’all in person.
Finally, I wanted to let y’all know I’ll be closing my shop for a few months. With everything going on, I’ve got to switch gears a bit and focus on the writing side of things, both the new book, the second edition of my memoir, and all the essays I’ll be publishing here.
I’m doing a spring cleaning sale with my shop (click here), and that means I’m offering free shipping (including international) AND exclusively for my Substack subscribers, y’all get a 10% discount at checkout with the promo code SUBSTACK.
Alright, that’s all the updates I’ve got for right now, and it’s all stuff I’m not yet letting the general public know about just yet.
Thanks y’all for all your support!
All of this makes me very happy. I can always use more Monk in my life. Particularly the podcast! Enjoy these exciting times, dental surgery notwithstanding, and I wish all happiness for you. 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
So excited for all of this, especially the audio material - book and podcast! Good luck with all the stuff!
